                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 8483 EAST
                   BRAINERD ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   EAST BRAINERD ROAD SOUTHEAST OF SHADY REST
                   ROAD, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE AND R-2
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO O-1 OFFICE ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
                A tract of land located at 8483 East Brainerd Road,
                being on the northeast line of East Brainerd Road
                southeast of Shady Rest Road.  Lot 3, Irwin
                Estates, as shown by plat of record in plat book
                25, page 104, ROHC; being the property described in
                deed book 4313, page 558, ROHC.  Tax Map No.
                159O-C-26.
               
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone and R-2 Residential Zone to O-1 
Office
         Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
